From the Old to the New

Variety is good.  One of the diversions along the bike route (in between interesting European cities and Roman ruins) was the Museum Danubiana -- a relatively new modern art museum situated on a peninsula in the Danube just downstream from Bratislava.  Eye candy for everyone!

The museum building really took advantage of the site, right on the water

More fun with reflections

This guy, while new,

was reminiscent of the armor collection we saw in the Habsburg palace in Vienna.

We quite enjoyed the sculpture garden on the roof, despite the heat.

And, as usual, the kiddo liked the museum cafe :)
