Chad got Nimue her own Swiss Army knife for her birthday, just in time for the camping trip with frinds at Big Basin last weekend.
Many wood shavings were made. One wonders if the next people to inhabit site 142B will suspect a family of beavers preceded them in this spot.
Chad instructed Nimue and Cathryn in the fine art of making the perfect marshmallow stick, while some of the younger kids looked on enviously.
And of course, being the redwoods, some of the logs are too big to whittle!
